Be a citizen of an ADB borrowing member country that qualifies for the Japanese ODA scholarship.
Not have dual citizenship with any developed country.
Have been accepted into an approved master’s program at a designated institution.
Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with an excellent academic record.
Have at least two years of full-time professional work experience after their undergraduate degree at the time of applying.
Be fluent in English, both spoken and written, for effective study.
Be no older than 35 years at the time of application.
Applicant must be in good health.
Agree to return to and work in their home country for at least two years after completing the program to support its development.
